Learning the guitar has always been on the wish list of almost every human being at some point in their lives. Just the thought of holding the guitar strapped around the neck, with your fingers moving up and down the fretboard like lightning and the “RockStar like” imagery that is created with the thought of a million fans going ballistic at your virtuosity alone, can give you the thrill.

Arpeggios prepares you for today’s music by building on traditional aspects of learning. Starting with fundamentals, such as single note playing techniques, every week the difficulty is slightly increased to achieve a progressive improvement of one’s skills and make the student comfortable with the instrument until guitar chords and advanced playing techniques become natural and easy to implement. In all instruction offered, emphasis is placed on achieving a solid foundation in the standard technical challenges of professional performance, including scales, chords, sight-reading, improvisation, interpretation, and standard repertoire. The students play some great music that ranges widely from classical to contemporary. The exams give you invaluable experience of planning and working on a repertoire, which in turn will boost your confidence, when you are learning guitar. The syllabus for the exams has carefully chosen songs that improve the technical aspects of playing, and build your skills as you progress through the grades.
